These brothers became inactive members resulting from either dropping out from UNCW or going before the Wilmington colony and Alumni Board of Trustees explaining their reason for wanting to become inactive. The inactive members are not allowed to attend any meetings, social events (including mixers), rush events, initiation, or any other events with the Delta Chi Fraternity, but the member does not have to pay membership dues while inactive. An inactive member can chose to become active by going before the boards and paying membership dues again.
